Hey guys, this is sahil  and in this video I'll show you how to disable direct messages on Instagram.

Open you Instagram app and click on threes line icon at the top right corner of your screen.

After this click on setting option from the menu.

Then click on notification.

Here you need to select messages and calls.

Now turn off messages request and turn off messages.

It's done.

Please take a note that you cannot fully disable messages on Instagram.

But now no notification will be send to you when somebody sending messages to you and it will help you to avoid spammy messages on Instagram.

Whenever you want to read these messages just go to app and click on messages section and choose which message you want to read.

That's it.
