This is sahil from Alphabetazone and in this tutorial I'll show you everything step by step.

1: First open your youtube app

2: Click profile icon at the top right corner

3: Click on setting option

4: Now select data saving mode

Here you can control lots of features in order to save your data.

1: Reduce video quality while watching 

2: Reduce download quality

3: Upload over- wifi only

4: Download over wifi only

5: You can also choose first option data saving mode and then youtube will control everything and reduce your data automatically while watching and downloading.
